What Makes Me Qualified to Write About This Stuff?

I've been working with kids for over a decade!
​
I spent my college years managing a community center for kids ages 1-16 at a low-income housing facility.
​
I was an Early Childhood Educator for over 4 years. I've also spent time teaching little ones soccer through Soccer Shots and even how to build toys with Engineering for Kids.
​
Currently, I work in the nonprofit industry but spend much of my free time babysitting, nannying, and reading up on the latest studies in childhood development (call me nerdy, but I love research).
​
My nonlinear path has enhanced my creativity and resourcefulness. It's also made me more mindful of the earth's beauty and the interactions we foster with kids.
Proud to say that I am a Certified Play Expert! As a Play Expert, I am well versed in the science behind play, early childhood development, and of course a myriad of toys and activity recommendations based your kid's needs and interests!
